Kbr Lake
Lotus Pond, sometimes called KBR Lake, was built between 1999 and 2001, and entry’s free.
It’s a small, serene spot with a walking path that loops around the water, and in the right season, you’ll see lotus flowers in bloom.
You can walk the perimeter in 20 minutes, but it’s a lovely place to sit with a book or watch the light change. Locals use it as a quick nature break. Photographers love the golden hour here.
Parking’s limited to street spots, so it’s easier to reach by two-wheeler or on foot. No facilities, no food stalls, just a pond and greenery.

KBR National Park
KBR National Park is 390 acres of protected forest right in the middle of the city.
Entry’s ₹25 for adults, ₹10 for kids, ₹20 for seniors, and ₹100 for foreign visitors. It’s open from 5:30 AM to 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, closed Mondays.
The main trail is about 4 kilometers and shaded most of the way. You’ll see peacocks, monitor lizards if you’re lucky, and dozens of bird species.
Mornings are cooler and less crowded. Evenings get busy with families and running groups.

Laser Shooter

Built in 2009, this temple’s a detailed replica of the famous Puri Jagannath Temple in Odisha, right down to the architecture and towering shikhara.

The annual Rath Yatra (chariot festival) is the big event here, usually in June or July. If you’re in Hyderabad during that time, it’s worth seeing.

Nail Talk’s one of those low-key spots that doesn’t scream for attention but has a loyal following.
It’s a modern nail salon tucked into a quiet corner of Banjara Hills, and it’s where you go when you want a manicure or pedicure that doesn’t feel rushed.
The interiors are clean and bright, with comfortable chairs and a wide selection of polish colors.
Staff are trained, polite, and they don’t upsell you. Prices are reasonable for the neighborhood, and they take walk-ins, though booking ahead on weekends is smarter.
It’s a nice pre-event stop if you’re heading to a wedding or party, or just a treat-yourself afternoon activity.
Samba Royal Fort
Samba Royal Fort in nearby Punjagutta isn’t as famous as Golconda, but it’s a piece of Hyderabad’s layered history and worth a visit if you’re into architecture and quieter heritage sites.
The fort has stone walls, arched gateways, and a small garden area that makes for good photos in late afternoon light.
It’s not massive. You can explore the main structure and grounds in under an hour.
There are no guides on-site, so it helps to read up beforehand. The fort sees fewer tourists than big-name landmarks, which means you can wander without crowds.

GVK One Mall
GVK One is Banjara Hills’ premier shopping destination, and it’s been the go-to mall since 2009.
What sets it apart is the 10-foot saltwater aquarium in the central atrium, stocked with colourful fish and coral. Kids are glued to it.
The mall has a solid mix of international and Indian brands, from Zara and H&M to FabIndia and Biba. There’s a multiplex on the top floor, a food court with everything from South Indian to sushi, and standalone restaurants.

Lotus Pond
