How do you spot a nerd? Ask them if they know what 10 Downing Street is, and if they answer ‘the official residence of the UK Prime Minister’, they’re a nerd.
For as we know, 10 Downing Street is one of the best spots to hang out with friends and coworkers, as far as Hyderabad is concerned.
As you’d expect, this place maintains a retro vibe with wooden furniture, high stools and colonial-era artwork in the style of old-world English pubs.
They have a large English-inspired menu (with items such as fish and chips and Shepherd’s Pie) in addition to Continental and Indian cuisine, making it one of the best places to chill in Hyderabad.
And they have different themes on different nights, like Vintage, Rock, Desi, Ladies’ Special and so on.

Hyderabad Botanical Gardens
Had enough of the indoors? Looking to hang out with colleagues and friends in the great outdoors, among flora and fauna?
Then there’s a place near the Hi-tech City that you should check out: the Hyderabad Botanical Gardens, better known as the Shri Kotla Vijayabhaskara Reddy Botanical Garden.
Here’s the first thing to know about the place: it’s located inside a reserve forest – the Kothaguda Reserve Forest. I think you’ve guessed that this really will be a completely different experience.
Spread out over 120 acres and divided into 19 sectors. Each sector contains bamboos, fruit plants, ornamental plants and medicinal plants. You can also spot several birds and insects here.

Hussain Sagar Lake
One of the largest man-made lakes in India, Hussain Sagar Lake connects Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
There is a gigantic, exquisitely carved statue of Lord Buddha in the middle of the lake, on Gibraltar Rock.
There’s a 3 km long dam across the lake known as the Tank Bund, plus 3 landscaped parks – Lumbini Park, Indira Park and Sanjeevaiah Park – nearby.

Snow World
If you haven’t guessed it by now, Snow World is a snow-based amusement park…said to be one of the largest of its kind in the world.
They have an interesting approach to introduce people to snowy temperatures – you have to pass through a number of steps, beginning with the pleasantly cool 20 degrees Celsius and going downward till you’re in the subzero Cryo Zone.
You also get jackets, gloves, boots and so on to protect you against the cold.
